The Brief
The existing bathroom was restrictive and no longer suited the client’s mobility requirements. The goal was to maximise usable space, create a spacious walk-in shower and incorporate accessibility features while maintaining a clean, contemporary design.
Our Solution
We completely redesigned the layout to create a generous walk-in shower with improved accessibility and ease of movement. A new custom-built vanity was installed to maximise storage while providing comfortable access for everyday use.
The original timber window was replaced with a modern aluminium window, improving durability, natural light and overall appearance. For added safety, we installed grab rails throughout the shower and reinforced the frameless shower screen with structural support bars to ensure long-term strength and stability.
A combination of feature patterned wall tiles, large-format wall tiles and dark floor tiles created a bright, modern finish while remaining practical and easy to maintain.
The Result
The finished bathroom provides a safe, functional and attractive space that perfectly meets the client’s mobility requirements while feeling modern and welcoming. The open shower layout, reinforced fittings and thoughtfully designed storage have significantly improved everyday usability without sacrificing style.
By combining accessibility with quality craftsmanship and premium finishes, we delivered a bathroom that will comfortably serve the client for many years to come.
